The latest Development Permits approved by the Development Authority in accordance with Land Use Bylaw No 2011 are posted here as a way of informing the public of new developments in the Municipal District of Taber.

THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF TABER HAS APPROVED THE ISSUANCE OF THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPMENT PERMITS:    


Permitted Uses:

DP 86-25; Lot 3 Blk 4 PL 1711192 within Country Lane Estates - Construct 1,817 sq ft dwelling w 1,406 sq ft attached garage, 70 sq ft front deck & 410 sq ft rear deck

DP 88-25; Lot 1 Blk 1 PL 2310930 within SW 32-10-15-W4 - Construct 1,080 sq ft addition

DP 89-25; Lot 5 Blk 6 PL 3876R within Johnson's Addition - Construct 60 sq ft addition

Note: No appeal is available for the issuance of a development for a Permitted use unless the provisions of the Land Use Bylaw have been relaxed, varied, or misinterpreted.

Discretionary Uses:

DP 62-25; Lot 1 PL 8311037 within NW 10-10-16-W4 - Increase the intensity of an existing vehicle repair & transport business (industrial Class C)

DP 87-25; Lot 9 Blk 2 PL 241279 within SW 33-9-17-W4 - Construct 1,152 sq ft dwelling addition w 1,020 sq ft attached garage

DP 90-25; Lot 3 Blk 2 PL 0613903 within Grasslands Estates - 2x existing temporary shipping containers

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.

DP 77-25; NE 34-13-17-W4 - Construct 1,637 sq ft dwelling w 1,062 sq ft attached garage

DP 91-25; Lot 3 Blk 8 PL 0813498 within Hays - Existing 1,033 sq ft attached garage addition

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.
