The latest Development Permits approved by the Development Authority in accordance with the MD of Taber's Land Use Bylaw No. 2011 are posted here as a way of informing the public of new developments in the Municipal District of Taber.

THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF TABER HAS APPROVED THE ISSUANCE OF THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPMENT PERMITS:    


Permitted Uses:

DP 9-26; Lots 12-15 Block 17 Plan 4466AA in Grassy Lake - Installation of 8.455KW DC/ 7.68KW AC roof-mount solar array

Note: No appeal is available for the issuance of a development for a Permitted use unless the provisions of the Land Use Bylaw have been relaxed, varied, or misinterpreted.

Discretionary Uses:

DP 8-26; Lot 7 Block 1 Plan 1212111 in SE 36-9-17-W4 - Change of use to 1,800 sq ft Bay 2 within existing 5,400 sq ft Industrial building to Used vehicle sales

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.

DP 6-26; SW 23-14-19-W4 - Move-in 1,216 sq ft manufactured dwelling for employee housing

DP 7-26; Lot 6 Plan 5814GX in SW 3-13-16-W4 (South Vauxhall Subdivision) - Installation of a 7.5kW DC/ 5.4kW AC roof-mount solar array

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.
